Data-Sharing Agreement

This Agreement is made by and between the subscribing entity or organization (usually your school or district) (SUBSCRIBER) and Classroom Mosaic (VENDOR), with an effective date of the start date of your subscription through the end of your subscription.


The intent of the agreement is to provide safeguards for SUBSCRIBER data being stored, processed, reported, and/or transmitted in any format. The parties hereby agree to the following terms and conditions with respect to the service.


The VENDOR acknowledges that the SUBSCRIBER has a duty to maintain the privacy of education records under federal privacy laws, including "FERPA" at 20 USC 1232g and 34 CFR part 99.


The VENDOR warrants the SUBSCRIBER data, whether electronic or hard copy, will not be used (other than to serve the SUBSCRIBER and/or to improve overall product performance), disclosed, or shared in any matter for any reason by the VENDOR without written prior consent of the SUBSCRIBER. Data shared will include the following:

  • School Name
  • School ID
  • District User ID / Employee ID#
  • Certificate ID
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Position
  • Department or Grade Level

The VENDOR will not use any personally identifiable information acquired from the SUBSCRIBER or from the SUBSCRIBER staff for marketing, sales, or anything else beyond the service provided to the SUBSCRIBER.


The SUBSCRIBER acknowledges that the VENDOR will provide and support Classroom Mosaic, a secure web-based platform for collecting, storing, and reporting of observation data for the duration of this agreement.
