Mosaic
This is a teacher observation form that is designed for K-12 instructional leaders. The form includes a series of questions that are intended to assess various aspects of a teacher's performance during a classroom visit. The questions cover a range of topics, including whether a student-friendly learning objective was posted, whether the teacher referred to the objective during the lesson, whether the teacher used a form of checking for understanding, whether the teacher offered specific feedback to a student, and whether the teacher called on students who did not have their hands raised. The form also includes questions about the use of technology in the classroom, whether the teacher performed checks of whole group understanding, and whether students were engaged with the lesson. Additionally, the form assesses the cleanliness and organization of the classroom, as well as the enforcement of clear procedures. Sections: Knox Middle
