The teacher observation form is designed to assess a teacher's strategies and behaviors in the classroom. It includes a series of questions that cover a range of topics, including establishing and communicating learning goals, maintaining classroom rules and procedures, helping students interact with new knowledge, deepening their understanding of new knowledge, generating and testing hypotheses, engaging students, recognizing adherence to rules and procedures, establishing effective relationships with students, and communicating high expectations for all students. The form is intended to provide instructional leaders with a clear and objective way to evaluate a teacher's performance and identify areas for improvement.
