This teacher observation form is designed to help K-12 instructional leaders assess various aspects of a teacher's performance in the classroom. The form covers a range of topics, including classroom configuration, learning targets, literacy and technology strategies, best practices, student actions, classroom interaction, cooperative learning, assessment for learning, classroom management, and lesson planning and delivery. The form includes specific questions related to each of these areas, such as whether students are configured for learning, whether vocabulary instruction is observed, and whether students are actively engaged.
