Peer Observations
I liked, I noticed, I wonder observation
Mosaic
The teacher observation form is a tool used by instructional leaders to assess and evaluate a teacher's performance in the classroom. It is divided into three sections, each with its own set of questions. The first section focuses on positive aspects of the lesson, asking the observer to identify what they liked about the teacher's instruction. The second section is designed to capture objective observations of the lesson, asking the observer to note what they noticed during the observation. The final section is meant to prompt reflective thinking, asking the observer to consider what they wonder about the lesson or the teacher's practice. The form is intended to provide feedback to the teacher that is specific, actionable, and supportive of ongoing growth and development.
