This is a form used for observing teachers in K-12 schools. It is designed to align with the ASCA standards for Academic Development, Career Development, and Personal/Social Development. The purpose of the observation is to assess how well the teacher is supporting students in these areas. The form includes questions about the session format and the counselor's goals for the session. It also assesses how well the session supports students' abilities to acquire knowledge and skills for effective learning, complete school with academic preparation for post-secondary options, understand the relationship of academics to the world of work and life, investigate the world of work in relation to self, and employ strategies for achieving future career goals with success and satisfaction.
