This teacher observation form is designed to evaluate various aspects of a teacher's performance in the classroom. It includes sections on learning objectives, instructional strategies, student engagement, technology and depth of knowledge, and classroom rules and procedures. The form includes questions related to the part of the class observed, class period, subject, and whether the learning objective is clearly posted and understood by students. It also assesses the effectiveness of the teacher's feedback during the lesson and evaluates the use of whole group, small group, partner work, learner presentation, teacher modeling/demonstration, teacher circulating, discussion, lecture, and independent practice. The form also evaluates student engagement and whether technology is being used to support the educational activity. Additionally, it assesses the level of knowledge required by students and evaluates classroom procedures and the teacher's ability to manage student behavior. Overall, this form provides a comprehensive evaluation of a teacher's performance in the classroom.
