This teacher observation form is designed to assess various aspects of a teacher's math instruction. It includes sections that cover different parts of the math lesson, such as the problem of the day, mini lesson, guided math group, centers, math work board, and conferencing. The form includes questions that focus on the rigor and alignment of the curriculum, as well as the teacher's ability to engage students and differentiate instruction. It also includes questions about the teacher's use of questioning techniques, anecdotal records, and content-specific strategies. The form assesses the teacher's ability to keep students organized and engaged, and includes a final question that asks the observer to select one area of strength or improvement for the teacher.
