The teacher observation form is designed to assess and evaluate the usage of technology in the classroom. The form also gathers information on the number of students using technology, the type of software and Google applications being used, as well as the teacher's role and use of technology.
In terms of instructional strategies, the form assesses the teacher's use of direct instruction, both in whole group and small group settings. It also evaluates the teacher's modeling of skills or strategies, as well as their role in facilitating or coaching students. Additionally, the form considers whether the teacher is primarily managing behavior or equipment during the observation.
