The teacher observation form is a tool used by instructional leaders in K-12 schools to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of a teacher's instruction, engagement strategies, classroom management, assessment practices, and overall classroom environment.
The observer will assess the teacher's instructional strategies, the level of student learning, and the components of the lesson that were observed. This includes determining if the students understand the purpose of the lesson, if they are actively engaged, and if the content is accurate, comprehensive, and engaging. The observer will also assess the classroom environment and mangagement. Looking for routines, transistions and classroom arrangement.
