This teacher observation form is designed for K-12 instructional leaders to evaluate and provide feedback on various aspects of a teacher's instruction. The form includes sections on fluency level, modeling and practice, routines for accountable academic discourse, pacing and monitoring by both the teacher and students, and practicing the language. The questions within each section cover topics such as content area, daily schedule, instruction for whole group, small group, independent, and flexible group settings, student engagement, critical vocabulary, visual aides, strategies for checking understanding, opportunities for independent and collaborative learning, problem-solving activities, reflection and evaluation of work, and classroom accessibility and safety. The form aims to provide a comprehensive evaluation of a teacher's instructional practices and their ability to engage and support their students' learning.
