This teacher observation form is designed to evaluate a teacher's performance in various areas of instruction. The form is divided into several sections, each focusing on a different aspect of teaching. These sections include standards and objectives, motivating students, presenting instructional content, lesson structure and pacing, activities and materials, questioning, academic feedback, grouping, teacher content knowledge, teacher knowledge of students, thinking, problem-solving, student work, expectations, managing student behavior, environment, respectful culture, PBIS, and final information. Each section contains specific questions that assess the teacher's ability to communicate effectively, align instruction with previous learning, set clear and demanding expectations, display mastery of content, make instruction personally meaningful and intellectually engaging, use a variety of instructional strategies, manage time efficiently, support learning objectives, sustain student attention, and create a positive classroom environment. The form also includes a section for final comments and recommendations. Overall, this observation form provides a comprehensive evaluation of a teacher's instructional performance.
