This teacher observation form is designed to assess various aspects of teaching and learning in a K-12 classroom. The form is divided into two sections: one for students and one for teachers. The student section includes questions related to their ability to provide text evidence to support their answers, write to support their learning, and ask questions to deepen their understanding. The teacher section includes questions related to their use of think-alouds to model their thinking, modeling processes for students, asking strategic questions, and requiring students to explain their thinking and support answers with text evidence.
