Mosaic
The teacher observation form focuses on evaluating the engagement level of the lessons being taught. It includes sections that assess whether the agenda or target learning is visible, whether the standards being addressed are visible, and whether the students are engaged in the learning process. The form also evaluates whether the lesson is student-centered rather than teacher-centered and whether there is evidence of rigor with high expectations for student thinking. Additionally, the form provides feedback for the teacher being observed. Overall, the form is designed to help instructional leaders assess the effectiveness of the lessons being taught and provide constructive feedback to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
